Pheasant Smudge Wing
Pheasant Smudge Wing
This pheasant wing is wrapped in warm brown leather and adorned with a strand of mookaite, tiger eye, green aventurine, and garnet. Pheasant carries a beautiful medicine of groundedness, abundance, vitality, confidence, and authentic expression. Living much of its life close to the earth, Pheasant teaches us to remain rooted and aware of our surroundings, while its brilliant plumage reminds us that being grounded does not mean making ourselves small. There are times to move quietly and observe, and there are times to step forward, show our colours, and allow ourselves to be fully seen. Pheasant reminds us that true confidence grows from knowing who we are and feeling secure enough within ourselves to express it.
Crystal Grid
The crystals woven along the wing reflect different aspects of this medicine:
Mookaite — A deeply earthy stone associated with instinct, adaptability, vitality, and grounded decision-making. It supports Pheasant's teaching of trusting our natural instincts while remaining flexible as the landscape around us changes.
Tiger Eye — A stone of confidence, courage, discernment, and personal power. Like the watchful Pheasant, it encourages awareness of our surroundings while helping us move through the world with steadiness and self-assurance.
Green Aventurine — Associated with abundance, growth, opportunity, and the heart. It reflects Pheasant's connection with fertile landscapes and reminds us to remain open to the possibilities that emerge when we move through life with confidence and an open heart.
Garnet — A stone of passion, vitality, grounding, and life-force energy. Garnet speaks to the vibrant side of Pheasant medicine—the courage to inhabit ourselves fully, follow what brings us alive, and allow our inner fire to be expressed rather than hidden.
Together, Pheasant and these stones carry a message of being both rooted and radiant. They remind us to trust our instincts, remain grounded in who we are, welcome abundance and growth, and know when it is time to step out from the grasses and let ourselves be seen.
